Websites for writers of Literary Agents?
I need to query Literary Agents.
I wrote my book, edited my book, and the query letter.
Now all I need are some reliable sites of directories of Literary Agents.
Help?
Thank you.
I need a literary agent who deals in audiobooks who can find me a publisher. Can anyone find me a directory?
I have had a look and can find a million agents for books and only agents in America for audiobooks. Ultimately I would like my audiobook compilation of short children’s stories published and it looks like I have to go through an agent – can you help me find one??? Thank you for any help that you can offer…
Where can I find a comic book literary agent or agency?
Novel writers have agents who submit work to publishing companies, and can be found in guides such as Writer’s Market, but I haven’t found any agents or agencies who submit to comic book companies. If they exist, they’re very secretive. Where would I find information on locating them? Are there any websites or directories for locating literary/creative agents that might be involved in comics or graphic novels?
EDIT: I read your previous questions and got clarification, which is why it’s important to be a bit more specific, because you’re looking for a literary agent, so I thought you meant books, since that’s what a literary agent represents. You have a screenplay that you’re trying to sell, so I don’t think you’d use a literary agent. So, I’m rewriting this post. I don’t know how it works as far as screenplays goes and it could be different than trying to find an agent for a book. AbsoluteWrite.com has a section dedicated to screenwriting and a sticky thread that gives you tips on how and where to submit. You might be able to get a lot more information about how it works by reading the threads in that section.

I am looking for an literary agent who can represent my work in Hollywood.?
Ok, I have the Hollywood Representation Directory and the Guild to Literary Agents books. My problems is this.. It is like looking for a needle in a forrest. So many of the agents in the books are frauds! 1 out of 20 are on the level. This is sad. I understand that this is Hollywood’s way of making you jump through hoops, this is just crazy now. Would any one know of an Agent or Manager in Hollywood that is not a fraud and who can help me? Not a list of agents but a real company who is not living in an apartment. Thank you
